If you are looking for a realistic and immersive simulation of the Airbus A318-A321 family of aircraft, you might want to check out the Airbus Xtreme Prologue package from BlackBox Simulation. The Airbus Xtreme Prologue package includes four models: A318, A319, A320 and A321, with either CFM or IAE engines. The external models are highly detailed and feature over 150 thousand polygons, high definition textures and bump mapping, custom animations, reflective 3D windows, cargo bays and galley areas. The virtual cockpit is another 160K polygons and features almost every switch, knob, lever and dial accurately modelled and animated. Each panel has its own separate integral lighting and both front and rear overheads are accurately reproduced.

The Airbus Xtreme Prologue package also features highly detailed MFD screens and ECAMs, which are switchable and have independent dimmer controls. The MCDU allows you to program a flight plan from start to finish, including climbs, SIDs, STARs, speed and altitude constraints, holding patterns, airways and alternate airports. You can also see your performance figures with V-speeds and fuel predictions. The ECAM screens will eventually show all your system status including fuel, electrical, hydraulic, pressure systems, doors and landing gear as well as many warnings to help you get things in order.
The Airbus Xtreme Prologue package is a work in progress and will be updated regularly with new features and improvements. The current download version is Prologue v0.87.6. You can purchase it for 42.99 from the BlackBox Simulation website. You can also download a skidrow reloaded version from various torrent sites , but be aware that this may not be the latest version and may contain bugs or viruses.
