How to Create and Animate Live2D Models with Live2D Cubism APK

Now that you have Live2D Cubism APK on your device, you might be wondering how to use it. Here are some steps that will guide you through the process of creating and animating your models with Live2D Cubism APK:

Step 1: Import or create a 2D model in the app

The first thing you need to do is to import or create a 2D model in the app. You can do this in two ways:

  • You can import an existing 2D model from your device's gallery or camera. To do this, tap on the + icon at the bottom right corner of the screen and select Import Model. Then, choose an image from your device or take a photo with your camera. The app will automatically detect the face and body parts of your model and create a basic model for you.

  • You can create a new 2D model from scratch using the app's drawing tools. To do this, tap on the + icon at the bottom right corner of the screen and select Create Model. Then, use the tools at the top of the screen to draw your model's outline, fill color, shading, and details. You can also use layers, undo, redo, erase, zoom, and move functions to edit your model.

Once you have imported or created your model, you can adjust its size, position, rotation, and flip using the buttons at the bottom of the screen. You can also rename your model by tapping on its name at the top of the screen.

Step 2: Add parameters and deformers to the model

The next thing you need to do is to add parameters and deformers to your model. Parameters are values that control how your model moves and changes its appearance. Deformers are shapes that warp and bend parts of your model. You can use parameters and deformers to add expressions, emotions, and movements to your model. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Tap on the Edit icon at the bottom left corner of the screen to enter the editing mode.

  • Tap on the Parameter icon at the top left corner of the screen to open the parameter menu. Here, you can see a list of predefined parameters that you can use for your model, such as eye blink, mouth open, head tilt, etc. You can also add custom parameters by tapping on the + icon at the bottom of the menu.

  • Select a parameter that you want to add to your model and drag it to a part of your model that you want to control with it. For example, if you want to add eye blink parameter to your model's eyes, drag it to one of your model's eyes. A blue circle will appear around that part of your model, indicating that it is linked to that parameter.

  • Repeat this process for other parts of your model that you want to control with parameters. You can link multiple parts of your model to one parameter or link one part of your model to multiple parameters.

  • Tap on the Deformer icon at the top left corner of the screen to open the deformer menu. Here, you can see a list of predefined deformers that you can use for your model, such as eye rotation, mouth form, head angle, etc. You can also add custom deformers by tapping on the + icon at the bottom of the menu.

  • Select a deformer that you want to add to your model and drag it to a part of your model that you want to warp or bend with it. For example, if you want to add eye rotation deformer to your model's eyes, drag it to one of your model's eyes. A green shape will appear around that part of your model, indicating that it is linked to that deformer.

  • Repeat this process for other parts of your model that you want to warp or bend with deformers. You can link multiple parts of your model to one deformer or link one part of your model to multiple deformers.

  • Tap on the Edit icon again to exit the editing mode.

Once you have added parameters and deformers to your model, you can test them by tapping on the Play icon at the bottom right corner of the screen. Here, you can see a list of
